Among the saints and yogis of India eager for darshan of Shri Haidakhan Baba was the great saint of Padampuri known as Somavari Baba. 

It was unbearable for me to stay in the demanding environment of Nasik, and I thought of visiting Pondicherry and meeting the Mother and Sri Aurobindo. 

Dr. T. N. Dutta, a prominent physician from Gajipur, U.P., wrote to me that he was coming to see me at Nasik, where I was living. After visiting, he told me his reason for coming.
